"I have to return some videotapes."

Over did my jab drills a bit. Not sure why, but I really like this juicy cut. Maybe I should name it?

Blitz The Ambassador

Here are a few snaps of my boy Blitz the Ambassador. We met last year when I shot his portrait for a feature he had in Vibe Magazine. We've been friends ever since.

I'm very proud of him. He's recently been doing shows with Akon, Rakim, Lupe Fiasco, Freeway and Snoop Dogg. And his album will drop this Fall.

Check out his website for more info: http://www.blitztheambassador.com/

I found a lost Macbook Pro today...

While running some errands in Manhattan this afternoon, I stopped by a cafe to grab a sandwhich. On my way out, I spotted an unattended Macbook Pro just sort of sitting there on the napkin and utensil stand.

I looked at it for a few seconds, and thought to myself, "Man whoever lost this is going to be real upset. Someone's entire life might be in there."

So I grabbed the laptop and put it under my arm. I walked around the cafe in search of a fellow Mac user, (i.e. someone who "is artsy" and / or "thinks very highly of themself.")

I didn't want to just hold up the laptop above my head saying "Who lost this?" because I figured any random guy would say it was his. I could have dropped it off with the cafe workers, but I thought it would be fun to do a little detective work.

I pretended like it was my laptop in order to avoid arousing anyone's suspicions as I surveyed the room. (Not that anyone at the cafe would give a shit, but it got me in the right mindset).

There was one dude sitting in corner that kind of stood out. He had a hipster vibe. And wore a vintage long sleeve T from the 80s with fitted jeans. He didn't get much sleep the night before, his eyes were a bit glassy. He was basically having one of those days.... ok... This was the guy!

I waited for him to look up, and I made eye contact. His gaze went directly to the laptop in my hand. I saw a few gears spin in his head. I assume he was trying to recall whether or not he had brought his laptop to his seat. And within moments he was frantically searching around his table in a panic.

I smiled and held out the laptop to him. His eyes widened like a baby deer. He came running towards me like a father who had just lost his child in a parade, and I was a God sent stranger, standing there holding the hand of his kid saying, "Hey kiddo, look it's your daddy running towards us!".

When he got to me, I pulled the laptop away from him, and yelled, "What the hell are you doing man? This is MY laptop! Step the fuck off before I lay you out". And he got really upset. Then I walked out of the cafe with my free laptop.

No. I didn't do that.

I just handed him the laptop.
And he said "You saved my life man!"
And I said "Happy New Year!"
